Northeastern men’s hockey junior forward and assistant captain Dylan Hryckowian signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars, the team announced March 20.
Hryckowian, who hails from Quebec, wore the Husky sweater for three seasons, playing in exactly 100 games for Northeastern. In the 2025-26 season, he notched a career-high 37 points in 30 games. Despite missing six games this season due to an injury, Hryckowian played a major role for the Huskies, scoring 15 goals and recording 22 assists.
During his freshman and sophomore seasons, he played in 70 games, missing only three games. He scored 24 goals and collected 46 assists.
In the 2023-24 season, he notched 34 points, placing him 15th out of all freshmen players in the country and cementing his place as the rookie with the most points in program history since Mike Szmatula’s 39 points in the 2013-14 season. His assists were the second-highest on the team behind his brother and former Northeastern forward Justin Hryckowian. His contributions on the ice earned him Hockey East Rookie of the Week twice.
He will join his brother Justin Hryckowian once again on the ice in Dallas. Justin Hryckowian signed with the Stars two years ago, where he has logged 72 games, scoring 10 goals and collecting 14 assists.
