Denis Leary will hit the ice September 28

September 9, 2003

Actor Denis Leary will be joined by a host of celebrities and sports legends for the Fourth Annual Celebrity Hat Trick – “Hockey’s Greatest Skate for America’s Bravest” to benefit The Leary Firefighters Foundation. Presented by EMC Corporation, The hockey game takes place Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at the FleetCenter. Since its inception in 2000, The Leary Firefighters Foundation has distributed in excess of $1 million to the Worcester Fire Department. The Foundation has also distributed $1.8 million to the families of fallen New York Firefighters. Proceeds from The Fourth Annual Celebrity Hat Trick, “Hockey’s Greatest skate for America’s Bravest” will go towards the completion of the training facility in Worcester and a portion is being targeted towards assisting the Boston Fire Department. Tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster or the FleetCenter. – News Staff
