The Northeastern University baseball team continued its winning ways in conference play, taking two out of three from the University of Delaware to improve to 6-3 within the Colonial Athletic Association.
Friday’s game marked Opening Day for the Huskies. Senior right-hander Mike Fitzgerald got the starting nod after serving as NU’s shutdown closer in 2016.
Wrapping up its season by winning two out of three games against Towson University, the Northeastern University (NU) baseball team clinched its fourth-straight berth into the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) tournament.
