A student reported she had been receiving threatening phone calls from a man identifying himself as a State Police trooper. The man was requesting personal information from her. The student stated she filed a report in September when she received a similar call, during which the caller stated he was from customs and immigration services.
Monday, Nov. 11
9:04 p.m.
A student reported his unattended red earphones and his iPod were stolen from the basketball court in the Marino Center.
Tuesday, Nov. 12
12:41 p.m.
A manager at Wollaston’s Market in the Marino Center reported that he detained a student who had attempted to steal a deck of cards. The student was found to have two prior offenses, and was issued a trespassing notice. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution (OSCCR).
Wednesday, Nov. 13
10:23 a.m.
A faculty member reported his black road bike was stolen from in front of Meserve Hall at some point between Wednesday, Oct. 3 and the time of report. The bike was secured with a U-lock.
1:25 p.m.
A manager at Wollaston’s Market in the Marino Center requested to speak with an officer regarding a larceny that had taken place around 12:39 p.m. Officers reported a student was caught on camera stealing items from the store. Officers contacted the student, who admitted to taking the items. She was issued a trespassing notice from both Wollaston’s markets, and will be referred to OSCCR.
6:20 p.m.
A manager at Symphony Properties reported that one of his tenants, a student living at 1025 Tremont St., received a possible death threat from a roommate over a dispute. Officers spoke to all four roommates, who were all having problems with one another. All four were in the process of seeking alternate living accommodations, and were advised of their rights. They refused police intervention.
6:43 p.m.
A Resident Assistant (RA) in West Village F reported someone had smeared eggs or spray paint on one of the doors. An officer responded and reported an unknown person smeared eggs onto a door, and Curry Student Center (CSC) was called to clean the door.
7:59 p.m.
A staff member in Columbus Place reported she was receiving threatening phone calls from Nigeria.
Thursday, Nov. 14
7:11 p.m.
An officer observed two teenage males enter the Renaissance Parking Garage and make their way to the upper floors. The officer found the two in the 10th floor stairwell, where they were smoking marijuana. A small amount of marijuana was confiscated.
11:47 p.m.
A student reported loud music at 97 Saint Stephen St. Officers spoke to the resident, who agreed to turn off the music.
Friday, Nov. 15
8:19 a.m.
A residence security officer (RSO) reported an underage female student in the lobby of Speare Hall who was in her undergarments, vomiting and did not want to be touched. Officers spoke to the student, and upon returning her to her room, noticed the door was open. The officers noticed a male lying on the bed. Boston Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded for the female student, who was drunk and incoherent. She declined a transport from Boston EMS and signed a medical waiver. She has one prior alcohol case with Northeastern’s public safety division (NUPD), and detectives will follow up for additional information.
11:21 a.m.
Detectives confiscated one bottle of Bacardi rum, one bottle of tequila and one bottle of vodka from a room in Speare Hall East. The resident, an underage student, will be charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor.
11:36 a.m.
A manager in Wollaston’s Market in the Marino Center reported a shoplifter in the store. Officers responded and the student was issued a trespassing notice, and will be referred to OSCCR.
11:13 p.m.
An RA in Davenport Commons B reported an odor of marijuana coming from one of the rooms. An officer responded and spoke to the residents of the room.
Saturday, Nov. 16
12:13 a.m.
A student reported a loud party in the basement level of 109 St. Stephens St. Officers spoke to the student resident, who agreed to turn down the music and send his friends home.
1:41 a.m.
Residents of 80 Annunciation Road reported a highly intoxicated man in front of the building. Officers responded and reported the man, an underage student, was conscious but not alert, and unable to walk. Boston EMS transported the student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
2:13 p.m.
An officer reported the theft of a cellphone from Centennial Commons by a female wearing all black who was working an event on the quad. The cellphone was recovered and the female left the area.
Sunday, Nov. 17
3:06 a.m.
A Residential Director (RD) in 337 Huntington Ave. reported loud music coming from one of the rooms. Officers spoke to the resident, who agreed to turn down his music.
4:05 a.m.
A proctor in West Village H reported a male student in the lobby with a bleeding shoulder. Officers spoke to the student who reported he was stabbed in the left shoulder while walking near Faneuil Hall. Boston EMS transported the student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for treatment of the injury. BPD responded and assumed jurisdiction.
5:42 a.m.
An RSO supervisor in West Village F reported the door to one of the rooms had been egged. Officers spoke to the supervisor who stated this was an ongoing issue among the residents. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time. The CSC was notified for clean up.
7 p.m.
A non-student walked into NUPD operations to request an escort back to his residence at 1049 Tremont St. He stated he was involved in an ongoing dispute with his neighbors and has filed several reports with BPD. BPD was contacted and officials sent a unit to speak with the man. BPD stated they received over 12 calls from the man that day, and had taken a report from him earlier. The man was escorted home.
