Officers received a report about white paint over the mouth of the statue in front of Shillman Hall. Officers requested the camera footage from the front of the building.
Tuesday, Feb. 11
4:03 p.m.
A student reported she had a dispute with another student driver over a parking space. The student returned to her car a few hours later and found a note on her windshield with inappropriate comments on it.
Wednesday, Feb. 12
8:32 a.m.
A staff member reported that a large stuffed dog had been stolen from On the Go in Curry Student Center and there was video surveillance of the theft.
1:57 p.m.
A staff member reported a $50 black Logitech headset had been stolen from his office in Cabot Feb. 10.
1:58 p.m.
A staff member reported her Citizen’s Bank debit card was stolen from her wallet on Feb. 6 from Cabot, and four purchases had been made on it.
10:17 p.m.
Marino staff reported a fight on the basketball court. Officers spoke to two students who had gotten in to an argument over the game, during which pushing ensued and one student punched another. Both students were referred to Office Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution and banned from the Marino Center.
Friday, Feb. 14
2:04 p.m.
A student reported his bike was stolen from the bike rack at 106 St. Stephen St. last week. Earlier Friday morning, he found the bike in a trash bin stripped of its parts.
10:22 p.m.
A proctor in 780 Columbus Ave. reported damage to a vending machine in the building. The basement vending machine made of glass had been moved and items were removed from the machine.
Saturday, Feb. 15
2:22 a.m.
A student reported an intoxicated female vomiting in the lobby. Officers spoke to the female, and requested Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
3:06 a.m.
Officers stopped a suspicious man who appeared to be casing the Hemenway Street neighborhood. The man, Michael B. Smith, was found to have three outstanding warrants, and was taken into custody.
1:05 p.m.
A manager at the Wollaston’s Market in the Marino Center reported two students had their cell phones taken from the basketball courts in the last eight minutes by a man in a red shirt.
2:46 p.m.
A man was reported shoplifting from Wollaston’s in the Marino Center. Officers banned the man from the market.
Sunday, Feb. 16
2:44 a.m.
A man reported an uncooperative, intoxicated female in the lobby of West Village G. She did not have the proper ID to enter the building. Officers determined the woman was alert. EMS transported her to Kennedy Hall.
Monday, Feb. 17
1:39 a.m.
A student reported her friend was drunk and vomiting. Officers requested EMS, and the subject was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
