Trinity College announced the signing of Northeastern’s junior defenseman Nolan Hayes via an Instagram post Jan. 3.
In the 2023-24 season, Hayes played in 24 games, but his time on the ice dipped his sophomore season, when he appeared in only five games.
In his freshman campaign, the defenseman collected three assists and took 13 shots. He only had one shot the following season.
The Milton, Mass. native did not play with the Huskies this season and is not on the roster for the 2025-26 season.
Trinity College is a Division III school in the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
The Huskies are back in action Jan. 9 and 10 against the University of Vermont Catamounts after losing their first game of 2026 to Army West Point 5-2.
