Northeastern’s faculty senate held a meeting Nov. 18 to update staff on upcoming changes to the virtual class scheduler, Information Technology Services and Snell Library. Two academic proposals for the university graduate program were passed as well.
Because the current circumstances are keeping students in Boston for the holiday, students are finding ways to celebrate with their friends and roommates.

BBOSS aims to create business-oriented community for Black students

In January, the Northeastern Black Business Oriented Student Society, or BBOSS, held its first ever general body meeting. Since then, the organization has provided opportunities, information and a community for Black students at Northeastern to explore the field of business.
The University Health and Counseling Services building is one location students can seek medical care.

NSCC reflects on Aoun’s email about diversity, inclusion initiatives

Some members of the Northeastern Students of Color Caucus, or NSCC, found much to discuss about President Joseph E. Aoun’s most recent email regarding Northeastern University’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. The email was sent to the Northeastern community Oct. 19, proposing initiatives that Northeastern will enact to address issues of systemic racism and discrimination, particularly against the Black community.  
Cabot, once a facility where varsity, club and intramural sports could occur, has been the home of a massive testing operation this semester.
