After defeating New Hampshire 4-0 in Hockey East play and beating Colgate 4-3, the Huskies returned from Belfast carrying a 10-4-2 record (6-3-1 Hockey East) and a five-game winning streak.
The Huskies were denied the homestand sweep of the Maine Black Bears Sunday afternoon, as they took an overtime loss for their second defeat of the season, 3-2, at home in Matthews Arena.
Zach Solow scored the winning goal late in the third period to cap off a minor comeback, and Northeastern won 3-2 to sweep the Maine Black Bears on the weekend.

Northeastern women’s hockey came through with its seventh straight victory Saturday at Matthews Arena, defeating the visiting Maine Black Bears by a score of 2-1 off the strength of freshman forward Katy Knoll’s late game tally.
The Huskies split their homestand matches in the final weekend of the season, emerging victorious as they shutout Delaware, 3-0, before losing their final match to James Madison, 3-1.
