Emily Spatz is a fourth-year journalism and political science combined major and editor-in-chief of The News. She was previously the campus editor and projects editor and is excited to keep bringing pertinent, timely and thorough reporting to the Northeastern community. She’s covered the greater Boston area as a metro co-op for The Boston Globe and as a general assignment reporter co-op at Boston.com. She also interned at her hometown, community newspaper in Tennessee, covering business, city events and politics. You can follow her @emilymspatz on X.
