Unfortunately, the anticipation was met with defeat, as the Northeastern women’s basketball team was narrowly defeated by the visiting South Dakota Coyotes, 80-76.
After a program-best 20-12 record last season, Northeastern will need to overcome some challenges to equal the success of last year’s season.
